Once you log in, Go to the Menu on the Left-Hand side

Leave Request

In the Menu

Go to -> My Info -> My Time -> Time off

In Time off ->  Go to Request

Choose the date from the calendar on the page ( Date will be Hilighted as shown below image)

Choose the Time Off Type for the Menu by Clicking on the Little search button

Once you Choose the Date & Time off, type – Click on Start Request

In Request Time -off Choose the Time off type, Request Type, and Documents to upload if needed.

Time off Type – You can choose using the little search button

Request Type – Full day, Multiple days or Partial day

After filling in the fields, Submit the Request

The request will be submitted to the manager for the approving

Cancel Time off- Request

Go to the date on the calendar – to delete the request

Click on the Annual leave –Delete

To view Time off Balances

Go to My Info -> My Time -> Time Off -> Balances

Understanding your leave balance

Current Balance is the annual leave balance on your last pay slip, minus any leave taken in this pay period. Once the ''Scheduled'' leave (approved future leave) is taken, it will be re-categorised as ''Taken'' and will be deducted from the ''Current Balance''.

Projected Balance is the balance at the end of your accrual period if you don’t take any further leave than what is currently recorded, and if you continue to work in the same pattern.

Taken is any leave taken in this accrual period, including leave taken in the most recent pay period.

Scheduled is leave that has been approved to be taken in the future.

Requested is leave that has been submitted but not yet approved.

Accrual Profiles have no end date set currently, meaning they automatically reset every 12 months from your original hire date in MyNIDA. You can use the leave projection calculator when applying for leave to accurately project your leave balance at your actual contract end date.
