Current Balance is the annual leave balance on your last pay slip, minus any leave taken in this pay period. Once the ‘Scheduled’ ''Scheduled'' leave (approved future leave that has been approved) is taken, it will be re-categorised as ‘Taken’ ''Taken'' and will be deducted from the ‘Current Balance’''Current Balance''.
Projected Balance is the balance at the end of your accrual period if you don’t take any further leave than what is currently recorded, and if you continue to work in the same pattern.

The accrual profiles Accrual Profiles have no end date set currently, so meaning they automatically default to reset every 12 months from your original hire date in MyNIDA. You can use the leave projection calculator when you apply applying for leave to accurately project your leave balance at your actual contract end date.
