Printing from NIDA Computers

Printing from NIDA Computers

All users should have a printer called “Release Queue” or “Release Queue on KENPRINT” available as a printer when signed in to a NIDA managed computer.

Printing to this printer will add the print job to a queue, which will then require manually release

The printing process should be as follows:

  1. Select “Release Queue” as the printer when printing a document.

  2. Adjust and print options (colour, stapling, folding etc) in the printer properties as required.
    Default is as follows:

    • Greyscale (Black and White)

    • Double Sided

    • Plain A4 paper

  3. Print the document

  4. Sign in to a printer and release the print job that was submitted to the print queue by checking your documents and then tapping “Print”. See this article on associating your NIDA card for print services.
