WORKFLOW

 
1. The student goes to the course in Canvas for which the video assignment needs to be submitted

2. The student navigates to the screen in the course where the assignment can be accessed. The student then clicks on the title for the assignment to open it

3. On the assignment's main page, the student then clicks on the 'Start Assignment' button

4. An upload options screen then appears. The student clicks on the 'Echo360 Homework Embed' tab to select that option

5. In the Homework Embed tab, the student clicks on the 'Upload Existing Media' option

If the student has already uploaded the video that needs to be submitted for the assignment, the student can instead click on the 'Library' option to search for and select this video

7. The student then sees a 'Select Files to Upload' box. If the student wants to upload their video from their local computer or device, the student then clicks on this message or drags and drops the video file onto this message

If the student's file video is in one of the following cloud platforms, the student can click on the relevant icon to the left, log in to the platform then select the file: Box, Dropbox, Google Drive or OneDrive

The student then sees a 'Select Files to Upload' box. If the student wants to upload their video from their local computer or device, the student then clicks on this message or drags and drops the video file onto this message

8. The student then selects the video to be uploaded and clicks the relevant button, eg 'Open'

10. The student then clicks on the 'Upload' button

The video is then uploaded to Echo, and also added to the student's personal video library in Echo

11. The student is then returned to the submission options screen in Canvas, and a link to the video in Echo is shown.


The student then clicks on the 'Submit Assignment' button to successfully complete the assignment submission process.
