To Publish the Schedule, you must Create Schedule Settings & Schedule Template
Schedule Settings
Go to Admin -> Scheduler Setup -> Schedule Settings
To add new schedule settings – Click on Add new or please check Schedule settings process document
For Existing Schedule settings
In Schedule Settings search with department name
To the Existing Schedule click on view schedule settings (Pencil symbol on left hand side)
It directs to the schedule settings page
Schedule settings page all the information regarding Cost centre of the department, Additional cost centres like Rates, Awards, Allowances (Tick on the box accordingly)
Schedule Templates
Go to Admin -> Scheduler Setup -> Schedule Templates
To create a new schedule template, click on Add new Check Schedule Templates Process document.
To edit the existing Schedule template, click on View Schedule Template settings
Schedule Templates has information like Default shifts, Basic shift time, open shift, when you create a new schedule, you copy these templates to the employee
Add new shift
In the Schedules page on Right hand side click on Three dots and click on Add new shift
In the Manage shift Page Enter Shift start time & end time, Primary cost centre, Skill
Fill in the additional information -Rates, Award, Events, and shift counts – If you want to create bulk shifts
Click on Save
New shifts are created and are available on your scheduler page
Clone Schedule Template
In the Schedule Template Click on the “Clone Schedule Template”
Click on Yes
Clone Option helps you to copy the same schedule and allow you to edit the template by different names
Assign Shift to an employee
To assign shift to an employee – Click on the Schedule and Assign a employee
Browse and Select Employee – which allows you to assign this shift to employee and click ok
Schedule View
If you want to see your employees only by grouping the Cost centres
If you have employee who can work in multiple cost centres the shifts displayed for them under this view will be divided based on the centre to which its assigned, we can see the employee display multiple times depending on how many cost centres employee is scheduled.
Generate Schedules from the Template for the dates you need
Go to Schedule Templates -> Click on Cog Icon to generate Schedules
Click Yes to generate schedule
Specify the Start Date of the Schedule and Click Save
And the system generates the message about the schedule for the date
The date range in Message box will be the master template schedule date not the new generated or copied schedule date
Once the schedule is generated you can view it in Advancing scheduling -> Schedules
Go to Team – > Schedule – > Advance Scheduling -> Schedules
In the Schedule page you can see list of schedules
You can view schedules for next quarter or last month using the filter – Schedule Dates
Post the Schedule
To make visible for employee to see the information, go to the three dots next to the Set up by Cost centre and click Post the Schedule
You can also Un post the schedule using the same process – Once you post the schedule you get an option saying Un post the schedule in the similar process
