Qualtrics - Customising views and downloads ('Data & analysis' tab)

VIEW MANAGEMENT

The columns displayed in the Data & analysis tab can be customised so that only certain among all the values collected by a survey are shown.

The columns can be created, added, rearranged and removed using the Column Chooser option at the top right of the tab.

The columns then displayed can then be saved and recalled, so that you can have multiple views of the survey’s data in this tab. These views are called ‘layouts’ and can be managed from the Tools button at top right.

DOWNLOADED FILES

You can also extend this customisation to the fields that are shown in results files you download from this tab using the Export & Import button.

After you select the Export Data... option, if you untick the ‘Download all fields’ option, the file downloaded will only contain the columns currently shown in the Data & analysis tab

If you would like Qualtrics to automatically send you a regular copy of the responses received select the ‘Response Export Automation’ option off the ‘Export & Import’ button. Responses sent will be those received since the last file automatically sent and will not include those that are less than one hour old.
